Rooms

Here are some of our Bedrooms

Our bedrooms have King, Queen, and Twin size beds. Some rooms can accommodate three, four, or even five people in one room. Private and Semi-private baths are available. Each room has a unique decor, two rooms are named after countries we have visited. Visitors have access to a family room, cable TV, laundry, storage, and enough off street parking for an RV.

Russian Room

This is the Russian Room. It has a king bed that can be split into two single beds. This has a private bath right outside the bedroom door. This room holds our Russian collection gathered over the years from our travels to Russia. We also have several Russian friends who have donated to our collection.

The Family Room (AKA Piano Room)

The largest bedroom in the Bed and Breakfast is the Family Room (aka piano room). It has a king bed and two single beds. The king bed can be separated to make two single beds and there is a loveseat couch that has a pull out bed big enough for one. This room is large and can sleep 5 people in separate beds and still have room to walk around comfortably. The bathroom and separate shower room are not in the Family Room but down the hall.

Requesting a specific bedroom: We will guarantee an accommodation such as “a room with a queen size bed and a private bathroom”, however this is not a specific room. This allows our calendar to be the most flexible for guests.

Some of Our Other Rooms

Breakfast Common Room

We’re very proud of our solar  Breakfast Common Room where we serve breakfast every morning. This glass room is retrofitted to a decked second floor off of our kitchen.  The room has two glass walls and a glass ceiling that allow you to observe Alaskan weather from the comfort of the indoors.  In this room we keep many brochures of Alaskan Activities, a large collection Alaskan books, as well as, a netbook for folks that need to print boarding passes. Guests arriving for breakfast can enjoy a view for the forest in front with a cup of coffee while  conversing around our large table.

Guest Kitchen

On the first floor we have a kitchen stocked with all the appliances, utensils, dishes, and cookware that you might need to create meals for yourself.

Downstairs Lounge

Adjacent to the guest kitchen is a lounge area. This room also has many brochures and book of Alaskan activities and history. This room has access to our laundry facilities, and gives access to a covered outdoor lounge area.

Outdoor Lounging Areas

We have outdoor lounging ares around the bed and breakfast that allow you to take advantage of being outside for reading, or wifi regardless of the weather. (note: The only areas in the bed breakfast that allow smoking are in one of our outdoor lounging areas.)
